The “Love You Like a Love Song” singer, Selena Gomez, is getting ready to get into the beauty industry.
Gomez is the latest in the line of celebrities to join the beauty industry.
First, there was Rihanna making an entrance with her beauty line, Fenty Beauty. Then there was Lady Gaga who launched her beauty line, Haus Laboratories, Jennifer Lopez’s line with Inglot Cosmetics and the likes of Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian with their beauty lines named after them. Now it looks like Selena Gomez is jumping on that celebrity wagon to launch her own beauty brand.
Women’s Wear Daily reports that her production company, July Moon, filed a trademark for “Selena Gomez” on July 11 for beauty products including “fragrances, cosmetics, skin-care preparations, hair-care preparations, soaps, moisturizers and essential oils.”
But this isn’t her first foray into the beauty scene. She previously released a self-titled fragrance, Selena Gomez Eau de Parfum, with Adrenalina Inc. in and Vivamore in 2013.
Gomez also has an extensive list of fashion collaborations with Coach on a line of handbags and accessories, as well as a ready-to-wear collection and Puma on a line of clothing, shoes, and accessories.
She has however not publicly revealed anything about the potential beauty line.
